Us

Pipacs Film was founded in 2008 and started out producing short films and commercials and has since grown into an experienced producer of feature films, television series, and short-form projects.

Over the years, we have developed a strong track record in both Hungarian and international productions, working across a range of budgets and formats. Alongside our own productions, we provide full-service production and co-production services for international projects filming in Hungary.

Our work covers the full production process, (from development and) pre-production through filming and post-production. We bring extensive local knowledge, an established network of creative and production professionals, and hands-on experience with Hungary’s production infrastructure and tax rebate system.

Whether working on an independent short film, a small or medium-budget feature, a television series, or an international co-production, we approach every project with the same commitment, flexibility, and attention to detail.
